The display, too, remains one of the best around - even if it is no longer the exception but the norm. It certainly doesn't offer enough for an upgrader from the last two or three generations of Surface Pro. Performance has been given a welcome and necessary boost, even if it seems to have been at the cost of a little battery life - perhaps no surprise with the Intel Core i7 on test here.
